We’re excited to share that Anastasia Budinskaya has been promoted to Principal at NFX.

Anastasia has played a central role in shaping how we source, evaluate, and support bio investments. She has a rare combination of strengths: sharp scientific judgment, fast and rigorous thinking, and the conviction to lean in early. 

Over the past two years, Anastasia has helped shape NFX Bio’s strategy, with a particular focus on women’s health, brain health, and longevity. She’s also been a key force behind expanding our network across the broader techbio ecosystem. Recently, she led the creation of the NFX Bio Fellows Program – a talent engine designed to help the next generation of operators and builders find their way into the field.

Before NFX, Anastasia worked at the intersection of science, operations, and execution. She was a Senior Manager of Operations and Strategy at One Mind Accelerator, investing in mental health companies, and she spent years inside both startup and pharma environments. Most notably, she led corporate and clinical development at LikeMinds, where she drove the technology transfer of Altropane, a molecular imaging agent used in PET scans, into GE Healthcare’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics portfolio. She later joined GE Healthcare as a Scientific Leader, designing and supporting clinical studies.

Anastasia loves working with founders who are ambitious about impact and creative about execution. She brings a builder’s mindset to investing, and she is deeply committed to helping founders take breakthrough science and turn it into products that reach patients as fast as possible.
