Bio

Fannie is all about making sure our founders’ fundraising game is strong. She helps them develop a clear and compelling narrative. She designs the pitch deck to reflect the business’s strengths and goals. She rehearses with them until they’re blue in the face. She’ll ask tough questions that investors would ask. And she’ll make sure that founders are also asking tough questions of their potential investors. At the end of the day, venture capital is not just about capital, it’s about partnership.

In the last 3 years, Fannie was the Design Partner of an elite fundraising design agency, 4th & King, helping founders raise an aggregate of $6B+. She was also an integral part of First Round Capital’s Pitch Assist team.

Interests

Outside of VC, Fannie had always believed in design thinking as holistic method to solving the world’s problems, honing her user-centric design chops at the Academy of Art and IDEO.org. Today, she continues to flex those skills in the world of Women’s sports as an Advisor for Pick Her Up Basketball, an organization dedicated to building local communities of women basketball players. She’s also a fan of hiking, backpacking, LGBTQ+ rights, dogs, learning, recycling, and general efforts to make the world a better place.
