InterCOM is nFX's chat tool kit that is used to create custom avatar-based chat systems. InterCOM chat avatars are not static images but rather "Living Graphics" based on nFX's patented morphing technology. As the chatters send messages to each other their on-screen cartoon counterparts come to life--laughing, crying or flirting--based on key words in the chat messages. Chatters also have direct, real-time control over their character.
GameWorks adds InterCOM-based chat to their Seattle and Las Vegas sites. Read the press release here.
